Fantastic game under proton, however getting /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.33' not found when running under native Linux. Running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
The machine I’m using for doing builds is running Arch, and unfortunately it seems that Ubuntu 20.04 uses a slightly older GLIBC version (2.31) and I don’t have a Ubuntu install for development builds currently.
Thanks! We’re actually planning on (and beginning work on) a full release as a complete rebuild of the entire game to be more robust and modular, along with more content and things to shoot!
Hey congrats for finishing the game ! I followed the development quite closely on discord as I was hyped from the pictures you posted.
I really like the color scheme, and the UI specifically stood out to me as the animations are very slick.
The feedback is good as well, very smart to have bullet impact sound increase their pitch as an enemy gets closer to death.
Sadly I struggled with the controls as the layout is quite different from what I'm used to, I had to shuffle my fingers a bit which added some friction to the experience.
Thanks a lot! I felt very comfortable with the controls after remapping. Here's a playthrough, but beware it could be frustrating to watch as I'm colorblind xD

It picks up non-english keyboard layouts! No need to deal with WASD being spread out across the keyboard anymore! Just hit play!
Cool game, i like the control style like Outer Wilds! (one of my favourite games hehe)

Really cool! Nice job. Now it just needs some more enemies/guns/upgrades/bosses and you can do a full release! Solid foundation for a fun game here :D

Really, cool, enjoying the 6DOF and giving me a solid Descent vibe - and amazing that you did this within the scope of a 7DFPS!
Thank you, I’m glad you like the game feel!
I’m honestly surprised that we managed to build this entire game in a week, I feel that this entry was way more solid than our previous one.

Thanks for the feedback!
If you can post your preferred control scheme I can try to add another control scheme that’s closer to what you have.
That's very nice of you, don't feel pressured though x)
* WASD for horizontal movement* Space for upward (or/and left shift)
* C for downward (or/and left ctrl)
That's what I got used to, from piloting similar vehicles in Subnautica and Outer Wilds.
No problem at all, I actually want to add full key rebinding anyway…
I will separate the new version though so the original 7DFPS build will still be available.
Just wanted to let you know that the latest Rolling build now has completely configurable key bindings. Let the custom keymaps rip!
